I am just now reading your post. That is such a wonderful story. But is is also sad that no one came forward to collect the remains.
I assume you are talking about Thomas Jefferson Temple, my great-great grandfather. It would never have occurred to me that the remains would still be available. I assume the cemetery in which you buried the remains was the Gove Hill Cemetery in Hanoverton.
