I have a known ancestor that was buried in Aynho, Northamptonshire, England. Our family tree shows a John Howes was buried at Aynho on May 6, 1820 at the age of 78 years. His wife Mary was buried there also on October 21, 1818 at age 63. Unfortunately we never linked our family tree back further than this time period. At the time the family tree was done some of the parish registers were missing. I also know that my ancestors emigrated to Ontario, Canada and later to Iowa and Colorado and then Kanas in the United States from England. My understanding was that our Canadian cousins lead our family to the location of our family in Aynho, Northamptonshire, England. J. Edmund Howes, son of James and Hannah Howes, baptized in the St. Michaels Church in Aynho, Northamptonshire, England on January 6, 1832. J. Edmund Howes came to Canada with his parents from England before 1851. Edmund married probably in 1856 to Sarah Reid, daughter of Jacob Reid. Sarah Reid was born October 24, 1836 in the county of Suffolk in England.
I'm related to the Howes/Howse family from Aynho although my ancestor Andrew emigrated to Ontario. I have a few Anne/Annie relatives on my tree, although I don't have much information about them. I expect there's a connection.
