You left a comment for me awhile back and I didn't see it till now.. Sorry, I am bad at keeping up with things.. thank you very much though... in means alot..
My DNA resuts are posted at ysearch.org under the ID of TGCAK. I tested for 67 markers at Family Tree DNA. I formed a 66 of 67 marker match with a Jackson and am currently testing another Jackson with hopes of a perfect match, but those results aren't expected until September.
You are doing a lot better than me. My 3 x great grandfather was John Brown, born somewhere in about 1789, worked most of his life as a foreman in St. Katherine Docks, London (I have his personnel record for his employment there from 1830-1860). Do let me know if tyou have Londoners...
My grandfather's name was Charles Reeves. Supposedly born in Jackson County, TN on March 1, 1890 based on his WW1 military records. DNA results indicate a very high probabily I am actually a Jackson. Little is known of my grandfather's identity prior to 1916. There is a chance of a connection in Indiana, but it's too soon to tell. We are waiting for DNA test results.
