Wendy, could your write a brief summary of what you are looking for and tell me what you have found out so far. It's rather confusing to read the posts on here to get it all straight. I don't want to duplicate efforts that have already been done. Be happy to be of assistance if I can. You might tell me what sources you have used so far also. Thanks,
Hi Wendy
Are you a member of ancestry.com? My genealogy addiction began with a 14 day free trial to that site about 3 years ago! At first it seemed like I constantly had my face in the computer. Now it's more of a part time hobby, although just as intriguing.
I no longer pay for my ancestry subscription because I am not on the site as much, but the Brockton Public Library has an archive/research room with a computer that has free access to ancestry. It was on this website that I became familiar with census records and through those found a lot of information. I know there is a free website called something like familysearch.com thatis fun by the morman church. The site just seemed a little too complicated to navigate as I was beginning my search. If you do not have access to any of these sservices I may be able to look some stuff up for you at my library although not until next week.Keep in toucvh. Chrystine
