I don't have any connections to the Pollocks so far as I know. I've just been looking at the Snow line, which originated in North Devon around Hartland/Barnstaple. I've also followed the maternal line in a few instances as I live on the border of Hertfordshire and Essex so worked back to the Spring family of Lavenham. So you can find where we meet up, my thrice great-grandfather was Gardner Snow, who died in Utah, and then through his male descent - James Chauncy Snow, Dominicus Carter Snow, Roland Basil Snow and my father, Roland Verl Snow.

Very interesting, so we are related in the same generation, which is nice (I'm 63 by the way). What is the white book?

A bit late since your posting was in 2009, but we're from the same line. I have the family back in direct line to Devon in England circa 1520.
