Sorry I have been absent from this site. Life has been busy.
You posted that your brother did a Y-DNA test. Does he have the Pigg surname? My son did mt-DNA, Y-DNA and Family FInder test at Family Tree DNA, but he does not have the Pigg surname. I did a Family FInder test this year, and two descendants of my father's double cousin tested Family Finder, and one has the Pigg surname. If you tested, you should have a Family Finder match with us. You might get a match with my son on the Taylor side with Inman and Whitson, but that was a long time ago, and may not show up well.. I am having a lot of problems with the DNA matches because I might match people in more than one way. I have been trying to locate where the Pigg DNA is on the match chart. Unfortunately, the descendants of my dad's double cousin also have a match to my mother's sister who tested. I am thinking their mother may have been related to my mother some way. There are a couple of names my mother and father had in common, but I had thought they were too far in the past to show up well. Have you or your brother done a Family Finder test? They are not all that expensive. There are not many males with the Pigg surname in my closer related family, and those Y-DNA tests are expensive.

We need Pigg Y-DNA. I have Lane in my tree in a few spots. I am in the chat room here if you care to join us.
It is good that you entered your information on your line in the Pigg group. Not everyone has a subscription to Ancestry.com.
