I was delighted to get your message re the Jolley/Jolly family. My home email is bbgoodman@hotmail.com, and I find it easier to deal in that way, as I seem to have joined so many genealogical websites that I get a bit muddled. I'd be very happy to send you what I have - including photos of the grandfather and grandmother (and of an aunt and uncle) of William Henry Jolley.

I have quite a few titbits here and there - for example, William Henry's father died in Glenn Innes, N.S.W., Australia on 24 Sep 1883 aged 40. At least that is the information I have.

I had not been able to trace the line back beyond Nicholas Jolly married to Elizabeth Norris, and was interested that you had him as the son of Nicholas and Sarah. Do you know where that information comes from?

Anyway, I'd very much like to work on this together and to add to my knowledge of this family line. I am descended from Martha Joll(e)y, who married James Scrimshaw and was a younger sister of Thomas Jolley (the father of William Henry Jolley).

Can I send you the info I have in any other way other than through this confusing (to me) website?
