Hi Suzanne. I noticed you were interested in the names of Gibb and Cockburn. I have Scottish heritage on my mothers side. Her name is Janet Gibb Parks and she came out to Australia with her mum and younger brother Cecil when she was 17. She is now 96 years of age. Her mother was Elizabeth Cockburn and her grandmother was Janet Gibb and married John Cockburn. They had about 9 kids. Alot of mum's relatives moved to New Zealand. Mum's brother Frederick still lives in Scotland. My mum thought she recognised your name. Could this be so? I live in NSW Australia. Regards Beth
