I seek to solve the mystery of Jacob Arney, who died in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1784.



Part of the dilemma is that this Jacob Arney has been wrongfully tied to a Frederick Ernigh, who arrived in the USA in 1732. Most researchers of this particular line of Arneys tie this Jacob to Frederick, incorrectly.
