  Family Traditions on New Years Eve.

  Yes, we gathered family together, near and not far and had food and played cards and games.  Dad and I would make eggnog and Mom would have with our help made pies and brownies. Family and friends that came would bring a dish or dessert also. Dad liked to make homemade eggnog that way no chemicals in his drink or eggs.   Over on another of my blog pages I posted a note  about a seminar some of us at CVGS attended last weekend.

  Hemet - San Jacinto Genealogical Society hosted a great day of knowledge and prizes and terrific lunch.

  Lunch was provided by the Boy Scouts of America.  I am learning new methods of lunches all the time.

  We are hoping for a large seminar like we did last October this October, so my eyes and ears are out there…

Our Mother, Dorothy Inez Hoffman Jones, daughter of Cecil L Jones and Inez Mae Scott, was born 29 June 1920 at Little Bear, Platte Co. Wyoming. She left this earth to go home 10 January 2011 at Valley Ford, Sonoma Co., Califonria.
