Ok, I admit, it was my fault, I hadn't backed up my tree for TWO whole months, and then kabang - computer dies, loose all my photo's documents (read certificates), well, just everything. I've just been emailed by a guy I hate, his name is Howard Ulph Smith, and he's a Collector, he takes peoples family trees and dumps them on HIS website and claims them as his own, so that if you do a name search his site comes up. Doesn't matter to him that the information hasn't been checked or is wrong or the fact that people are being shown on the internet who absolutely don't want their names on there. I've been so furious with Legacy genealogy programme, which I loved, because I couldn't add same sex couples, some of my family are gay, and this has been distressing for me. I actually wrote to Legacy about this, and they literally told me to change the programme would be TOO HARD. Forgive the pun but too hard my arse! I don't know, for days now I've been chasing some twigs on my family tree, a Jewish line, something I haven't delved into before. I can't find their entry into Australia, and I've tried various spellings of their surname - Isaacs - and by using all different first names, including the wives. Nothing matches or makes sense.
