Hello!
I'm new to Genealogy Wise, but not to genealogy itself, so I thought I'd start off with an introduction post.
On my Mum's side I have a collection of common names and very uncommon names. My maternal grandmother's line follows the Harrises of Upper Holloway in Islington, London and the Nevols family of Shropshire (the spelling of "Nevols" appears to be unique to my family line so if you have that spelling in your ancestry there's a high chance you're related to me). My maternal grandfather's line is the Smiths of Northumberland (with Avery and Huggins connections thrown in for good measure), and the Wilkinson family of Northumberland (with Harraughty and Scrouther/Scrowther lines as well).
On my Dad's side is the Collins family of north London (and Payne, Sturdy, Field, Bygrave, Ginn, Allen, we have a lot of surnames on that side) and the Dragonetti family of Villa Latina (and Margiotta of Piscinisco, plus Valente, Benaquista, and Altrachini).
My Dad's side has more people on it as my Dad has been researching for years, but I'm currently working to get my Mum's side caught up!
