Hi Thomas,

I found Brunetta L. Bradley with parents Charles and Ida (or Ada) Bradley in the 1900 and 1910 census in New Orleans.  In 1900 the family lived at 43 Calliope St. and you can access a clear image of the census using the LDS website www.familysearch.org  I copied the 1910 census page for you from HeritageQuest but the 1910 census is not as clear as the 1900.  In both the 1900 and 1910 census, Charles Bradley's mother-in-law, Lovisa Martin, lived with them.  I have downloaded all the images and can email them to you if you are unable to access them.

According to the 1900 census, Brunetta had 3 sisters:  Lilly born Jan 1879, Josie born Nov 1880 and Charlie Belle born Oct 1898.  Charles Bradley was listed as a railroad conductor in both census.  City directories can help track the family since the census indicates that Lilly and Josie Bradley were born in MS while Brunetta and Charlie Belle were born in Louisiana.

I hope this information helps you take your research farther back on your mother's side.  Please feel free to contact me if you need help with accessing the images of the census or for further advice.

Sincerely,

Jackie
