I was intrigued when I ran across your note to a Tom Taylor since that is also my name.  From your information, we are from the same family which goes back to Scotland, then Londonderry, Ireland, then New Hampshire.  Earlier today I ran across the notice for the reunion late last July.  My wife and I were in the US during August just as the gathering was finished.  In fact, seeing that you are from MI, we visited friends in Morenci as we passed by on the way to the mid-west.  I have been doing some digging lately into the Taylor family and am slowly making new discoveries.  For example, if it is accurate, our family began in Scotland during the time of Mary Queen of Scots.  Have you ever heard of Black Donald of the Ax?
