David Pritchard and Ivy Iona Thomas

David and Iona was my husband's grandparents on his father side.

DAVID (DAI) PRITCHARD was born about 17 February 1907 in Cwmgors, Neath Port Talbot, Wales to Thomas Pritchard and Margaret Bowen. David died (Heart attack) on 15 April 1986, aged 79, in Glamorgan, Swansea, Wales. David was a chairman for Cwmgors Rugby Football Club (1927-1982). He became the longest serving chairman in Welsh Rugby history.

IVY IONA THOMAS was born on 12 December 1912 to Thomas (Twm) Thomas and Mary Diana Jones187. Ivy died on 27 October 1984, aged 71. David (Dai) Pritchard married Ivy Iona Thomas in July 1934. They had two sons: (Living son) Pritchard in 1937 and Jeffrey Thomas Pritchard in 1942 (died in 1998).

Thomas Pritchard, (1879-1931), born in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales, father: David Prichard, mother unknown, married Margaret Bowen (1886-1938), born in Neath Port Talbot, Wales, father: David John Bowen, mother unknown, in Jul 8 1905. Not sure, but think they had 5 children: David, Mary Ann (1909-?), Jane (1910-?), un-named son (1911-?) and Tom (1913-?).
