Free genealogy sites
What I don't like about these titles is that they are false! When you look up these sites they lead you to another page that is like a check out and tells you that it cost a certain amount of $ and ask for your credit card.!
If these sites need money to keep thier sites aboard then they should state it . If it is not free then you should not have that title next to your site because that is false advertisement!

I wish the FHL would charge a small daily fee (like the Newberry Library and others), it is appears the FHL and FamilySearch will always be free...

I totally agree with you on this one. When you go to Rootsweb.com and go to the like the state section click on county. then go down and see these sites that go here and do searches. Then they take you to where you have to pay to get to the information. That's not right.
