Haplogroup I(eye) yDNA Distribution suggest that each of the ancestral populations now dominated by a particular subclade of Haplogroup I(eye) experienced an independent population expansion immediately AFTER the last glacial maximum LGM approximately 20,000 years ago.[1] This extreme persisted for several thousand years. It was followed 15,000 years ago by the Late Glacial Maximum.
