The Genealogy & Family History Social Network

I have networked blogs on my facebook but can't figure out how to be able to post there. So can only read blogs. I seem to have to sign back into facebook if I use my gmail account for anything. I get so frustrated. I watched DearMyrtle from the archives on blgging and set up a blog on blogspot.com. I have yahoo as my search engine and I use Internet Explorer IE 8. I also have a yahoo mail account. I am so lost. I rarely use google to search but everything DearMyrtle and Legacy seems to suggest google.

Thanks Thomas I seem to be having problems with pages and linking my posts to them. Trying to get them organized. I will be checking out both sites.

Thanks again.

Hello Sharon - you can email me at geneabloggers@gmail.com and also check out GeneaBloggers at http://www.geneabloggers.com

Another resource that might help you is Bootcamp for GeneaBloggers (http://fbbootcamp.blogspot.com) which has lots of "help" articles on how to get started - look at the subject list on the left sidebar to view articles.

Cheers

Thanks Heather for the advice. I must be a real blockhead. Thought I was doing what DearMyrtle had said for adding stuff to pages. But I must not have set something up correctly. I don't think I have joined Geneabloggers yet.

Congrats on your new blog.  I use Blogger, too, and I find it very easy to figure out.  Have you joined the Geneabloggers website?  You can ask Thomas MacEntee to post your blog, and list it under whatever category is appropriate.  When I first started out Geneabloggers was invaluable to me.  Dear Myrtle has lots of good ideas, and she always answers her comments if you have a question. Good luck and stick with it.

By the way, Google is good, but I find Google book search even better!
