Invitation to Relate

I am happy to see genealogywise with a social network. I am a member of two genealogy groups and would very much love to know the other members better. However, no one wishes to misuse the group whose purpose it is to share information and help each other with research, so we don't share ourselves --- only our ancestors. But our ancestors are not alive now and we are. . . . alive here on this earth for a short time, with marvelous technology that knits the whole world together. Who more than we, supposedly kin in some way, should get to know each other?
I wish this social network well and hope to see many more here.
