Kudos to Hollywood Cemetery - Houston Tx

Good day all,

I felt compelled to write to all about Hollywood Cemetery in Houston Tx to help turn around their image.  I recently contact Cheryl Danford who is the manager of the property to assist me with locating a couple of location of graves for families from FindAGrave.com.  Little did I know that Cheryl was a genealogy buff herself and used that site to help locate some of her relatives.  In chatting with her via email for two or three weeks she had downloaded the photo requests and offered to compile the list with the correct areas and plots.  She offered to take time from her busy schedule, which was this last Friday morning to assist me in her golf cart so we could satisfy all the requests for photos.  We spent almost 3 hrs riding around the 52 acre cemetery and either taking the photos or making note of those graves with no stones.  I'm my personal opinion, she is really trying to turn the image around and where area still needs lots of work, she has a plan to get it done.  Kudos to Hollywood Cemetery and Cheryl Danford for a job well done and helping us all in our quest for our families, relatives and friend,.
