Burbank's Jamboree, had comments a plenty on Migration and Migration Routes, how to locate in census, how to locate in land files, BLM land Records and about any way you look migration can be picked up and pulled out to add to ones family history what they did, where they went and how to find if we loose them on the trail.
Leland M did a fast, packed, and paced talk on routes across the eastern seaboard coming later into the mid west to the Pacific Ocean.
Almost every lecture I listened to had a reference to migration of family. I am not sure how many others picked up on the thread.
A thoroughly enjoyed event and not enough time to learn all the things I wanted to attend.
I enjoyed helping with the late set up and think it is a good thing to volunteer.
I am seriously thinking of attending the day before next year. I missed John C. talks, seems it was not meant to be.
I highly regard his talks and presentations. But I was needed each time he spoke and that comes first for me. I can buy the talk maybe on a disk.
I missed four talks I truly wanted to hear but thankfully they are taped so we can order them on line.
Even Janet H talk on Chart's was a lesson on migration with out her even aware of it I suspect.
Charts can be an opening to bigger and better things. I love Maps, Charts and Pictures.
Something about, a picture is worth a thousand words. mmmmmmm
The same can apply to Maps and Charts.
