My first Ancestor because I am here.
b. Which author (book, periodical, website, etc.) are you most thankful for, and why?
I am thankful for all authors who have shared their knowledge and wit with the genealogical community,
Greene Co. Pennsylvania's Cornerstone Clues have been an great help in locating additional information on this family.
Usgenweb.org for the development of their sites and sharing of information done by the hundreds of volunteers to help fellow genealogists in their pursuit.
Brian Leverich for the development of Rootsweb that seemed to go hand in hand with the development of internet genealogy of today.
I think with out them we would not have many sites on the internet today.
c. Which historical record set (paper or website) are you most thankful for, and why?
Currier and Ives Document my 5th Grandfather filled out during Civil War era on the family, because it is in his hand and has full data on all children but two, which I have since found. His Grandfathers Rev War papers and father's als0.
