I am still trying to catch up with Brian Charles maclachlan, in ref,to the Maclachlan clan. My great grand father was Andrew Cunningham Maclachlan, born in 1861 east Greenock Renfrewshire Scotland. He passed away in 1925 in New London Ct.

Hi Ron

Time gets away and the study piles up keeping me flat out at the moment. If you need any further information or would like to have access to my family tree then please let me know. I found relatives from the Helen Kelly-Robert Maclachlan branch of the family in Paisley who have helped me with material on Helen. Are you aware of them?

Regards

Hi Ron

My apologies for not having made contact with you but I was overseas for a while and more recently buried up in study and helping local University of the 3rd Age ,members with issues in their ancestry research. This has meant that I haven't been logging in to GenealogyWise. I don't have an Andrew Cunningham Maclachlan on my family tree but I do have a Robert Cunningham who married Helen Kelly. Robert died in 1857 in India where he was in the British Army. Helen married Robert McLachlan, my paternal great grandfather, in 1861. Robert was also in the British Army and a good friend of Robert Cunningham. It may be possible that there is a link through these ancestors somehow. Robert Cunningham was not one of my ancestors.

Trust this helps.
