Things I Have Found

I just came across some interesting information regarding my grandfather, Frank Boyd. Frank originated from Waycross, Georgia. What I now know about Frank is his mother's name was Parilee and Peter Boyd was his father.

What is my interesting information? Frank had a wife. Her name was Inidiana and they had a daughter, Annie.

To some this just may be this is great, you found a grain, that little piece that gives our search gratification. What I found was sadness.

I had an Aunt Annie that I never knew about. I had an Aunt Annie that never knew that she had a brother, Cecil, my father. I can only imagine the sadness that her mother, Indiana, felt when her husband left and never returned. Leaving her with a child and the financial and emotional support now laden upon her shoulders. I'm angry that Frank would be so blatant and thoughtless about his responsiblity.

But life sometimes is a double edge sword, did Frank leave Indiana because of something she did? With this I ask again, share this post. Perhaps Annie had a family, I'm looking for them

Things found in searching sometimes leaves me with a heavy heart, missing people I never knew. Sorry for the pain they endured.
