The last will and testament of John Kerr of the county of Westmoreland Township of Sewickly in the name of God Amen I John Kerr being of sound mind and memory (blessed be God for the same) but considering the uncertainty of human events do make this my lst will and testament in manner and form followint. First if I do not return from the Mexican War I will and devise all that tract of land situate and lying in Sewidkly township West. Co, which was conveyed to my by my father and mother, by deed on record, to my half brother Henry Brenneman and half sister Jane Martin former Jane Brenneman their heirs and assigned, to be divided equally between them at the death of my father and mother I hereby appoint Henry Brennaman my beloved brother and R.M. Blackburn my beloved friend the Executors of this my last will and testament. In Witness whreof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-ninth day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and forty six.

Signed sealed and published by the said John Kerr as his last will and testament inour presence and at his presence and request we; have subscribed ourselves as Witnesses Legally proved and approved the 19th day of August A.D. 1847 Same day recorded.
