I Margaret Kerr of the City of Pittsburgh in the County of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman being of sound mind memory and understanding to make and publish this my last Will and Testiment, hereby revoking all former Wills by me at aney time heretofore made. And first I direct that my body be decently interred in the Methodist Graveyard at Pittsburgh by the side of my husband according to the ritez and ceremonies of the Methodist Church and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my Estate and situation in life, as to such estate it hath pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows viz
Item I give and bequeath to my son Robert Kerr Five dollars
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Handcock Five dollars
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Boyd Five dollars
The above amounts to be paid out of the first money which may come into the hands of my Executors and if either of the above names parties should die his or shair shall be divided equally between the surviving parties named
Item I give and bequeath to the Grand son James L. Kerr Boyd one Hundred Dollars to be paid to him when he arrives at the age of twenty one years
Item I give and bequeath to my Grand son Oliver Moor Fifty Dollars to be paid to him when he arrives at the age of twenty one years
Item I give and bequeath to Sarah Jane Cosset Fifty dollars to be paid to her when she arrives at the age of twenty one years.
Item I give and bequeath to my Grand daughters Eliza Virginia Handcock and Emma Jane Handcock fifty dollars each to be paid to them when they arrive at the age of eighteen years., the same to be put out at interest at the descretion of my Executors hereinafter named, and in case either of the should die without issue before the age of eighteen years then I give the shair of her my said grand daughter so dieing unto the surviver of them.
Item I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Eliza Virginia Handcock my bedstead which I loy on
Item I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Emma Jane Handcock my bureau
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza McKnight my eight day clock and all the rest and residue of my personally Estate, whatsoever and whosesoever of what nature, and kind, and quality soever the same may be and not hereinbefore given and disposed of. After paying my debts legacies and funeral expenses I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eliza McKnight to her own use and benefit absolutely, provided that she out lives me me but if she dies without issue before me then the above bequest to be divided among my Grand children above named share & share alike, and I do hereby constitute and appoint Jarrad M. Brush and Joseph A. Butler sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament.
In witness thereof I Margaret kerr the Testatrix have to his, my Will written one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of September AD 1863, one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Margaret Kerr, as and for her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our names at her request as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Testatrix and of each other.

Be it known that on the 14th day of January 1864 came Bennet Lake and on the 28th day of same month and year came Wm. Shore the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing who being durly Sworn saith that they were present and did see and hear the Testatrix Margaret Kerr sign seal publish and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her Last Will and Testament and at the time of so doing she was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief and in her presence and at her request They subscribed their names as witnesses thereto.
