Nellie and Her Descendents
Grandma Nellie had three children, and her oldest, lived through 1999. In 1993 my sister entered us in the St Louis St Patty's parade, and we've been there ever since, although sadly missing our baritone Uncle Tony since his passing.
This video starts off with grandma's beginnings, then the recorded voice of her daughter (my mom) with pictures of grandma's three kids, first in childhood, and then grown. Finally, the Irish music begins the pictures of the parade through the years. Enjoy!
** We found the tape of mom's voice after her death. It's a treasure.
