Albert P. JUNG, 85, formerly of 1701 Lagonda Avenue, passed away at 8:40 p.m.
Wednesday in McAuley Center, Urbana, following several years of failing health.
He was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 22, 1904, the son of Ludwig and
Elizabeth (SAUTER) JUNG and resided here all of his life. He had been employed
as a technician for Robbins and Myers Incorporated for 36 years, retiring in
1969. Survivors include one daughter, Alice MCABEE of Orlando, Florida; two
sons, Albert JUNG of Lexington, Kentucky and Joseph JUNG of Springfield; seven
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, in 1954, also two sisters, and four
brothers. Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Conroy Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Donald
Huebner officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Henry JUNG, 73, formerly of 1211 Highland Avenue, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday in
Mercy Medical Center following a prolonged illness. Mr. JUNG was born in
Springfield on March 7, 1902 a son of Ludwig and Elizabeth (SAUTER) JUNG and
lived in Springfield all his life. He was a retired machinist, working a number
of years at The O.S. Kelly Company. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic
Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. Survivors include one son,
Henry, Jr., of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Ann SHEPARD of Springfield;
three brothers, Joseph, Louis and Albert, all of Springfield; eight
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. His body was taken to the
Conroy Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Visitation services will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral
Mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial
will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Lewis J. JUNG, 84, of 425 Linwood Avenue, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in Community
Hospital following one year of failing health. He was born in Springfield,
March 5, 1899, a son of Ludwig and Elizabeth (SAUTER) JUNG and had resided here
all his life. He was employed by Triad Products Company for 32 years, retiring
as President in 1970. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. Survivors
include his wife Norah C.; a daughter, Jane; a son, Lewis A.; a brother,
Albert, all of Springfield; three grandchildren; a number of nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. His body
was taken to Conroy Funeral Home where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Monday. Funeral Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Raphael Church.
Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.

Joseph A. JUNG , 92, formerly of 1215 Highland Ave., died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday
in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home following three years of failing health. Mr.
JUNG, a plumber who retired in 1967, was born in Springfield Feb. 25, 1889, the
son of Ludwig and Elizabeth SAUTER Jung. He was a member of St. Bernard
Catholic Church and the Plumbers and Pipefitteres Local 97. Survivors include
two brothers, Louis and Albert, both of Springfield, and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Anna, died in 1970 and three brothers and two sisters preceded him in
death. His body was taken to the Conroy Funeral Home where services will be at
10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Edward Hopping officiating. Friends may call one
hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. A memorial mass
will be held at a later date.
