I would really love to know my maternal 3g grandmother's name. All I know is that she married Archibald Chandler BRINK (b 1802), and that they lived in Fayette Co. Kentucky (Jack's Creek Pike, probably) had 3 children: Demaris (b 1833) Arch (Archer or Archibald; b 1844) and Sarah. She apparently died between 1844 and Oct.,1847, when my 3g grandfather married Judith Townsend. They may have been Baptists, but I don't know where to find records from that time period for her. Thanks!

Hi Susan-
Do you have marriage or death records for the children?
Also, I see an "Arch Brink" age 54, in Fayette County, District 1, living next door to a family of Brinks, the Head of Household is Phillip age 56, is this Archibald's brother? I also see a Sarah Brink age 24 in Philip's home, is this Arch's daughter Sarah?

Can you tell us what information you have on Demaris, Arch and Sarah?

Thank you!
Kate
Thank you, Kate! I really appreciate your looking into this for me!
The Findagrave memorial is my own - a distant cousin found that information and posted it online. Martha Jane was Achie's mother, and she left a will, so I have some documentation for her. My g-g grandmother was Demaris, and we have information on her, but nothing so far on her mother's name, or on her siblings. I will check out the link you gave me for the Lexington Library, and if I find anything, I will post it.
Thanks so much!
Susan
You're welcome, Susan, hopefully you can find some new clues for us to chew on. :)
one idea, I found the burial place for Archibald's mother(I believe), on FindAGrave:
Martha Jane McNeil Brink, the memorial indicates that she was the wife of Hybert, mother of Archibald and Sarah?
January 28, 1780- December 27, 1858
so I wonder if the first Mrs Archibald Brink would have been buried at McNeil Cemetery:
McNeil Family Cemetery
6295 Jacks Creek Pike, Fayette County, Kentucky
'Across from Mt. Gilead Church'
Susan-
Here is a link to the Lexington Public library that is a good list of cemeteries in Fayette County:
