I've been working on a lateral line of Kirks that were from PA. Some i know specifically as Philadelphia, others I don't know specifically where in PA. They sometimes crossed over into New Jersey, i believe it was the Burlington area.

The oldest I have is George Rex Kirk, who married a Priscilla. Surname Unknown. Both were born c1803, George died nov 2 1896, Priscilla 11 mar 1864.

They had 5 children that I know of, some born PA, some NJ. George W (m Isabella), Rebecca H, Zachariah Taylor, Mary, and Sarah E.

Zachariah married a Margaret K, surname unknown, c1868.he was born c1847 in Philadelphia, she cMay-Aug 1868 in PA. He d 17 feb 1939 in Philadelphia, she bet 1920-1930.

They had 13 known children, Lillie E, George Rex, George Rex, Fannie Emeline, Charles Osmond, Alfred E, Mary Gertrude, Clarence E, Howard B, Stanley, Francis D, Elsie Viola, and Theodore J. i have more info on these ones, including some spouses and families. I have all census I could locate, as well.

Elsie married Charles F Kemp Jr of Nahant, Mass sometime between 1910-1930. Doesn't seem i put in the 1920 census, so i'll have to look for that one again.

I know nothing of their children, if they had any. I didnt see any mentioned in Fred's obit, but I have not got Elsie's yet.

Zachary is the line i follow done into mine, as shown, but i'm interested in any and all connections.

Hi Allyssa-

I found George R and "Prascilla" Kirk in the Philadelphia death records on FamilySearchLabs- appears they were bith buried in Beverly, NJ. Have you located their burial places to see if there other Kirks there?

I just looked at Find A Grave and found the memorials-
that is indeed the same as mine. I also got from those records, that there are 3 others buried there. They are on FG, but i posted those memorials, so... lol also photo requests, but no one has filled for me yet.

you said a death notice on n11 23 1894? is that accurate? I have his death as 2 nov 1896...

Where did you find that death notice? i don't think i have that one yet, but not sure. I don't know which daughter that one would be, Rebecca or Mary, without a first name. frustrating when that happens.
Hi-
Sorry, it was 1896, but his death was listed as Nov 21, the death notice was Nov 23. I've attached his death record that I found on FamilySearch Labs.

I found his death notice on genealogybank.

I notice on George R Kirk's death notice on Nov 23, 1894, a service was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George A Williamson, in Beverly, NJ. There was also a notice that he died at his home, 2153 Manakin St.
hi-
I looked at Family Search Labs again and found a death record for George W. Kirk he died in 1906. His mother is listed as Prisilla James.

I also found a death record for one of Zachariah's/Margaret' sons, George Rex, he died at 4 weeks and was buried at Beverly, NJ. in 1871.
