Lena Stone was one of my great great great grandmother's on my paternal side. I have not completed any research on this line.

My paternal grandmother was Emma Marie (or Mary Emma) Stone, born 12 October 1897 in Indianapolis, Indiana and died 5 November 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky. Her father, John Stone is one of my brick walls. From my grandmother's bible, I have his birth as 15 April 1856 in Oswego, New York and his death 23 December 1910 in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have information from census, city directories, death certificate and newspaper death notice/obit. but have not been able to place him in Oswego. He appears in Indianapolis in the 1881 city directory, so probably was living there in 1880. He married Rachael Kirsch 30 Deptember 1883. Father's name is possibly George.
It is difficult to search such common names and John and George Stone!

I am looking for the parents of Margaret Stone born 1694 Fishing Creek, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. She married Robert Stackhouse born 08 Nov 1692 Middletown, Bucks, Pennsylvania Colony. died 1788 Briar Creek, Columbia Co., PA. Any information on her or her family would be great. I have hit a brick wall with her!
