I would like to know if anyone has had experience entering Spanish surnames in Legacy. In Spain, men and women attach the maiden name of their mother to the end of the surname. When women marry they take the surname of the husband but retain their mother's maiden name at the end of their new married surname.
One can enter the surname as for example, "Puente Ojea" where Ojea is the maiden name of the mother or one can enter "Ojea" in the Title Suffix. Technically, it is not a suffix at all, but for purposes of entering data into the database, what is the preferred method. Also, will reports be affected in any way by one method or the other.
