I am researching the Stump and Grove families who lived in Summit, Ohio. By the looks of things, these families were quite settled in this area. If anyone has any info that you would like to share with me, please do!

My paternal Great-Uncle, Arthur EVANS lived in Akron and had a daughter named Rachel Joanne EVANS. She was in grade school in the 1930's. Arthur's parent were Noah and Nellie (nee WHITMAN) EVANS from St. Charles, Saginaw Co., Michigan. Arthur was born between 1914 - 1915 in Michigan. I've had trouble finding any information on him after he left Michigan and no information on Rachel at all. I only know about Rachel because I have a few photos of her including a school photo that says Akron and 1937-38. Her middle name has also been spelled Johan.

I'd love to find out more about them and if anyone is related I have plenty of information on the rest of this family I'd be happy to share.
