Barnetts of Hamilton county, OHIO

Mike, I have several George Barnetts, but they don't quite fit. I do have a John Barnett, born 1870, in the right area to be his father and the line of John back a few generations. Anyway, I am curious as to why you think they are Irish..

My Dad told me we were descended from Northern Ireland, I believe Dublin. My brother researched it a little and got that much. Dead end after that.

Hi Mike - do you know the birth year and/or place for your John Barnett, or any of his siblings names? I believe that some of the KY Barnetts, (not my direct line) did end up in Ohio. They were originally from VA and PA before that.

Not dead end yet mike... Still looking to nail down exact travel of John B to USA, but have several interesting leads on Ancestry.com, where you can see the whole Barnett - Bannon Tree.
