I have a Jeremiah BERRY, born abt 1721 in Rye, Rockingham, NH and died abt 1809. Jeremiah married Hannah LOCKE (1724-1770) who is the daughter of Deacon William LOCKE (1677-1768) and Hannah KNOWLES (1678-1769)

Would love to learn more about Jeremiah and if he ties in with a couple of other random BERRYs in my family tree.
Hi, my name is Mike Berry. I am a descendant of James and Elizabeth Berry Accommacke, Virginia and then Calvert County Maryland... his family line grows in Maryland through William, Rhoda (1st Wife), Margret Marsh Preston Berry (second Wife) in talbot, Maryland. What I would like to know is if James Berry 1631 Accomacke is related to Rye, New Hampshire Berry family. James was a non-conforming separatist puritan. this accomacke group of which he was a part had regular communication with Winthrop in Boston.

Many different Berry families' links and databases may be found at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~langolier/ (shorthand link is http://tinyurl.com/cpacfg -- NOTE! If you use the shorthand link be sure to click the 'break free' note in the upper right]

The search box on the page will search all the links there.

Don't forget DNA as a tool. All it takes is a related Berry surnamed male.

I would love to know Jonathan Berry's parents names.
am trying to find additional information on an Elisha Berry who was born in 1824. All I have is his wife's first name and the names of their children. He spent the majority of his life in Ohio.

If anyone could help me with finding his parents or general information about his family would be greatly appreciated.

Hi - I have several William Berry s in my tree (so far) ; being a beginer in the world of genealogy I'm confused ; I seem to relate back to a William Berry born 11/25/1753 Warwick RI. and died 10/17/1839 at Almond NY. ; my father grew up in this general area .

I cannot seem to get back past this William Berry - have a quite a  bit of information on newer generations.

DNA testing shows I have a conection to a "line" of Berrys mostly located in the "Virginia area"  - here again I seem to be stuck ( can't say i really understand DNA result reports)

I would enjoy hearing from anyone that steer me in a right direction.

What you need a hand with Fred  ? ......... Always willing to help out a fellow galvanized yankee heres a few links  http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~langolier/Augusta..........  or earlier http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~langolier/Augusta...

Two Berry sisters, Lydia "Belinda" and Lida of Colchester, CT, born in 1792 and 1798 married two Gillet(te) brothers, Joseph and Asa. Belinda was my 3rd great grandmother and d. in Ira, Cayuga, NY in 1837. Most of the CT Berrys were in Kent County but not these two (New London County). Best candidate for their father from the 1790 and 1800 Colchester censuses is a Joseph. He's my brick wall. Bruce Gillett
