I have some family that settled in Braxton County as well by the name of Fox and Boggs as well as Nicholas County.

Hi Helen. Elihu was my gg-grandfather. I am descended through his son Lewis and wife, Mary May Wells. I believe we have made contact before through another forum, perhaps Rootsweb.

Hello, Michael.
My ancestors were Elihu's daugheter Mary who married J.a. Nettles. Do you know who Elihu's wife, Mary Guilliland's parents were?

Good morning, Helen. I have Mary's parents as James Boggs Gillilan(d) and Harriet Hudson. However, I have no documentation to support this other than what I have found on other websites.

I do, however, have pictures of Elihu's son Lewis and his wife Mary May Wells. I seem to remember from our contact on RootsWeb that you have a picture of Elihu and Mary. Perhaps we could swap pictures. If necessary to send by "snail" mail, I would certainly be willing to reimburse you for postage.

I have other pictures of the Nettles family as well. These include Delphia Marie Nettles, Hanfred and Sherman Nettles. I would be willing to share them as well.
