Have you gone back to yourself and then set relationships. I find I have to do this when I add new people so the program will add their relationships to me.

Thanks to both of you. The actual answer I found was that you have to be on a Blood Relative to use the calculator in the Standard Edition. Using Tools/Set Relationships from my own Family worked.

Hi Mark:

The relationship of newly entered people is not automatically calculated. You have to re-calculate your relationships by selecting yourself and then select Tools-->Set Relationships and then follow the instructions.
