My grandfather John Forrest Sanderson was born 24 May 1910 in Courtland, Lawrence, Alabama, and died 28 Jun 1946 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He married LILLIAN LAWSON 02 Sep 1930 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, USA, daughter of JOHN LAWSON and RUBIE CALHOUN. She was born 10 Dec 1909 in Natchez, Adams, Mississippi, USA, and died 25 Apr 1990 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.
He was buried in Memphis, Shelby County, TENNESSEE and cause of Death: accidental - train

My great great grandfather, LUTHER RICHARD SANDERSON was born 25 Feb 1828 in Tennessee, and died 31 Oct 1872.
He married (1) NANCY THOMAS 1849. She was born 1830, and died 1859.
He married (2) MARY GRAHAM 10 Oct 1860, daughter of JOHN GRAHAM and LYNDA.
She was born 18 Dec 1830 in Alabama, and died 13 Jun 1896.

In the 1 June 1860 census, L R SANDERSON (31 overseer from TN) was head of home in Lawrence, Alabama
with kids Charlie (7 of MS), John (4 of AL) and William (1 of AL).
Also his dad Thomas SANDERSON, Jr (65 farmer of NC) and mom Matilda (60 of TN) and Elizabeth Thompson (16 of TN).

In 1870 Census L R SANDERSON (40 farmer from TN) lived in Lawrence, Alabama with wife Mary (39 of AL)

My great great grandfather, Matthew Newton Garnett was born 22 Dec 1830 in TN and died 07 Dec 1906.
He married SARAH ELIZABETH BORUM 20 Apr 1856 in Franklin, TN, USA, daughter of WILLIAM BORUM and ROZINAH HOLLAND.
She was born 21 Apr 1841 in Hillsboro, Lawrence, AL, USA, and died 19 Feb 1917 in Hillsboro, Lawrence, AL, USA.

In 1860 census M. N. Garnett (28 from TN) was a plasterer and lived in Franklin, TN with wife Sarah (19 from AL) and son William W (1 from TN).

In 1880 census M. N. Garnett (49 from TN, father-VA, mother-TN) was a farmer and lived in Hillsboro, Lawrence, Alabama with wife Sarah E(39 from AL, father-AL, mother-AL)

She married Luther Noah Sanderson 11 Feb 1894 in Courtland, Lawrence, Alabama, son of Luther Sanderson and Mary Graham.
He was born 17 Oct 1862 in Hatton, Lawrence, Alabama, and died 16 Nov 1923 in Courtland, Lawrence, Alabama.
