This is all I have to really go on for my gr-gr-grandfather and his wife.  I'm very curious as to when the picture may have been taken.  I have a few assumptions, but I'd like to see what other people think.

Off hand I'd say 1860s to early 1870s mostly due to her hairstyle.

I'm assuming there isn't a photographer information?
Hi Rachel,

I am so sorry to reply so late!

I had assumed you had found us through the photo-phixer.com web page and was hadn't checked genealogywise.com.

We can fix any spots and creases as well as enhance some detail ...particularly in the faces for $20 per image.

If you'd like an enlarged print, I'm happy to do that too, I just need a higher resolution scan (600 DPI).

I'd print this on Lustre paper (museum/archival quality photo paper).

Let me know if you'd like for me to handle that for you.

Feel free to call me if you have any questions at all.

Thanks!

Geoff

Hi Rachel

I am sorry it took me so long but I have had problems with the genealogywise website. I would date these photos as late 1850's or early 1860's. By 1864, most young women were wearing their hair much higher on the sides like above the ear or just slightly over it and the top of her dress hits this time period as well. The gentlemen looks like he is wearing a bow tie and this was popular in the 1850's and went out of fashion for young men about 1863 or 1864.
