I just posted a piece in the CFHR Blog (Cemetery and Funeral Home Review).

If you have ancestors in Hardin Co and you aren't sure if they may be buried in this cemtery, please visit. They have a wonderful searchable database!

I would be interested in the history of the cemetery itself, as I have Guedry relatives in Louisiana and it is an unusual spelling of the name.
They have a Historical Marker which is readable from the website. The Enloe family seems to be the caretakers now...very nice people
Just took a look at Ancestry.. seems the Guedry's landed at St. James parish in Louisiana in early 1800's and moved west. Ursin Guedry (Matilda's husband) is in Calcasieu parish (near border with Texas) in 1840, in Jefferson County, TX in 1850 and then to final resting place in Hardin County by 1860. Matilda is a widow by 1870, keeping house while younger son also named Ursin farms the place. I just love family history. . now I wish I could connect Ursin directly to my family. .
Great research Melinda!! Thanks for the history!
