Know some Kemps in Adelaide and Port Pirie, so I'll pass this on to them. They will most certainly have done considerable research on the Kemp line. Good luck. Denise
Hi Andrew,
I know some Kemps...originally from NZ and then Laurieton NSW and some moved to Sydney. I am not sure if they are doing any family research bur if this sounds like some of your kemps I will pass on a request to them.

I have just received Michael Kemp's email address from a friend in Adelaide. As soon as I obtain his permission, I'll forward it on to you. Good luck, Denise
I am interested to know if you have much Kemp history from New Zealand ? I have recently started some research on my family but have plenty of gaps to fill.
In brief, the most recent facts I have ..
My father is Nevil Frederick Kemp, His father was Vernon Henry Kemp, His father was Tacy Godfrey Alexander Kemp
His father was Godfrey Christopher Kemp,
If anyone has family history that includes any of these names, I would love to hear from them.
As for your own research, tell me what I can help with ?
You can contribute to the KEMP one-name study by providing a copy of your KEMP line to add to the database. As you will see through visiting http://www.kempfamilyhistory.com, all contributors are credited as sources of the information they supply.
Please feel free to visit the site, join and also contribute by sending me a copy of your KEMP line to add.
Hi Hayden, I have only just discovered this site so may be a little out of date (Googled your Grandfather - as he and his descendants are the only blanks I have in our family tree) - we are second cousins and I can fill you in on ALL the blanks - plus loads more from our very exciting family history - we will be having a 200 year reunion in 2019 - which should be very interesting.
I have sent a message to you via Andrew for you to contact me and done a friend request.
Also - have a Kemp line that moved from NZ to Australia in June 1867 on the brig "Spray" from Whangaroa to Melbourne.
Richard Kemp (1827 - 1879) and Georgiana Jessie Elizabeth Kemp (1845 - 1879) - they were Uncle and Niece - they both died in the same year leaving behind 4 children - this line I do not have much info on - If I ferreted through the folders Mother has aquired - I probably will be able to peice it together.
