Do you have ideas on how to increase membership in our society? This discussion group is set up to explore ways to do that. Deason< I would like to know how many are on our membership list? I still have not received one, and how many have we lost this last year and for what reasons? Maybe, a questionaire listing some things we could do and what our membership would want to share with us from it. We really need to find out why we have lost some of these people by mail, it is that we have gone hi-tech for some of them, and they don't want to mess with the computer but I really think it has been a great way to get info out there for the general public and members likewise. OK, that's my 2 cents worth.

I think I have that membership info, and I'll try to get it to you. I think surveying members, etc. as you suggest is a great idea. Maybe some of the other ideas you raised can be discussed.

have you ever thought of haveing a virtual meeting? i would love to come to meetings but i work till 7 pm and live in different county but could do a virual meeting.
