Thomas WALLACE born Stirlingshire, Scotland

Thomas Wallace was born about 1860 in Denny, Stirlingshire, the s/o William Wallace and Janet (nee Forsyth). He married Susannah McCormack in 1881 in Bothwell, Lanarkshire. He was a coal miner on all censuses up to and including the 1901. Susannah died in 1906 at East Lothian. I'm wanting to determine when and where Thomas died. Scotlands People has too many possibilities to even begin to guess, and I'm hoping someone else might be researching this gentleman as well and is willing to share information.

Hi Tom, it is possible we may have a connection. I am researching
John Wilson born about 1800 and Mary Wallace also born about 1800 who married at Paisley, Renfrewshire, near Glasgow on 10th August 1820.
They had three children (that I know of) Margaret c1820, Marion 1823 and John c1827. I realise they are not she same family as yours but they may be related, perhaps cousins.
Margaret Wilson came to Australia (probably as a free settler I cannot find her among the convict lists).
She married David Jones a London bricklayer convicted as being a 'possible accessory' to the theft of paper by another person John Wright.

Dear Lillian Patricia Galovich, you are looking for my great great grandfather Thomas Forsyth Wallace. He was born to William and Janet (née Forsyth) Wallace at Denny in Stirlingshire, Scotland, about 1860. After the death of his wife Susannah (sometimes 'Susan') née McCormack on September 20th 1906 at 3 Downie Place, Musselburgh, Scotland, he lived until July 23rd 1941 in the same town. His last address was 19 Cairds Row, Musselburgh, Scotland.

Their youngest child, Susan McCormack Wallace (1901-1947) was the mother of Susan McCormack Reid (1936-1992). She married Lockhart Roger Travers (1932-1998), and had Susan McCormack Wallace Travers (b.1956).

Susan McCormack Wallace Reid married and divorced Andrew Brown, they had two sons: Andrew and Jason (both now McCann).
