Lansing Collectors! The Historical Society of Greater Lansing is excited to annouce that we have acquired our own space in the Creyts building (corner of Washington and Oakland), which allows us the opportunity to build up our collections and begin to mount some exhibits! We're interested in a variety of objects. Stop by our website, www.lansinghistory.org, and click on the Donate to our Collections link for some ideas about what we'd like to acquire. It's been a year so - Get your tickets for the Historical Society of Greater Lansing's annual silent auction on Saturday, October 6th! We'll be at the old Strand/Michigan Theater at 215 S. Washington, 4-7 pm. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at www.lansinghistory.org. Get yours soon!

Upcoming Historical Society of Greater Lansing fundraiser - Get your tickets for HSGL's annual auction fundraiser on Oct 5 at 4:00 pm! We're being hosted this year by the LBWL at their lovely Dye Plant on Cedar between Michigan and Cedar. The evening will include a tour of the facility, and a short talk about the amazing WPA murals in the atrium. www.lansinghistory.org
