My Ancestors on the Batchelder side start with:

Rev. Stephen Batchelder born 1561 in England,

Nathaniel Batchelder born about 1589 in England

Nathaneil Batchelder born about 1630 Hampton, New Hampshire

Benjamin Batchelder born September 19, 1673, Hampton, New Hampshire

Susannah Batchelder born May 28, 1713 Hampton, New Hampshire  she married

Ebenezer Webster born October 10, 1714  one of their children

was Susan Webster born January 31, 1741 East Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire

She married Lt. Andrew Bohonon born August 11, 1737 Boscawen, New Hampshire, one of their daughters was Mary Polly Bohonon born April 11, 1780, she married James Taylor born January 17, 1781, which is the line I follow.  I just joined the DAR on James Taylor's father, Jonathan Taylor my 5th Great Grandfather.

Susan Webser and Col. Ebenezer Webster were brother and Sister.  Col. Ebenezer Websters son was Daniel Webser, so Daniel Webster would also be a distant cousin of mine.

On the Taylor side Anthony Taylor my 11th Great Grandfather and Rev. Stephen Batchelder were both founders of Hampton, New Hampshire.

Glad to be a part of the Batchelder group here on Genelogy Wise and learn more about distant relatives of mine on the Batchelder side of my family!

I have Batchelder ancestors also.

John (or Joseph) Batchelder born 1603 in Canterbury, England, died 1676 in Salem, MA.
His son, John Batchelder born 1638 in Salem, MA.
His son was David Batchelder born 1673 in Wenham, MA.
David had 3 brothers (Joseph, Ebenezer and Mark) and a sister (Sarah), all born in MA.
Sarah is my actual decendant (she's my 8th great grandmother) so I haven't researched any of the brother's descendants yet.
