I have Davis family from similar locations can you share what you have I am brick walled at the moment. thanks.

I am stuck bad. I cannot ask any of my elders because they are all deceased. My oldest living relative is 64 years old who doesn't know much at all. I'm expecting twins and want to be able to tell them where they come from. Any help appreciated or can email me billyjoedavis35@gmail.com

John Davis (born abt 1848) marries Lucy Hollis (also born in alabama don't know when) they move to Tennessee and have a son WILLIAM ELZIE DAVIS born July 31,1888 in Kenton, Obion County, Tennessee.

William Elzie Davis July 31 1888 til Oct 28 1961 Dunklin County MIssouri) marries Mary L (born 12-22-1895 to 1-14-1964 Dunklin County) and has 3 children

Pauline in Missouri (deceased in Missouri)
born 1919 William Huey in Arkansas (or Huey William)(deceaed in Missouri Dunklin County)
born 1925 Claude C in Missouri( deceased Missouri Piedmont area)

7-1-1947 William Elmer ( he hated Elzie)Davis marries Corine Wafford in Paw Paw,Van Buren County, Michigan.
They have 2 children
Born Aug 6 1948 Joseph Rayburn Davis in Coloma Michigan (my father)still living
Born May 8 1950 Bonita Lorraine Davis in Holcomb,Missouri (deceased Missouri Dunklin County)

Hopefully someone can help.  Family is from AL/TN/MO/MS/AR

Can anyone help with info above, It's been almost a year and still no farther than I was.  I did find out John Davis died while my grandfather was young who grew up in a orphanage over by Ravensden Arkansas .

Indiana Davis family Wayne,Union, Madison, Orange but mostly Bartholomew, Decatur and Jennings County Indiana.  Didn't recognize any of your names though.  Came in through Wayne County.  Quakers from North Carolina.  Haven't been able to get back to any of the North Carolina generations.
