4 Generation Project - Citation for Personal Knowledge

Considering that ICAP wants the 4 Generation Project submitted without identifying the submitter, I have a question that seem to put me at odds with that requirement.  It has to do with citing personal knowledge.

While complying with the need that the individual that kicks off the 4 generation must have been born before 1900, I have the situation where a child of that family is still living.  There are pieces of information about her family that she has first-hand knowledge of, and that information cannot be found in other sources.  

Using this individual's first-hand knowledge should be cited, according to Mills' Evidence Explained, as a letter or interview (as it my case) based on how it was obtained.  The citation requires the interviewer's name.   Since the interviewer (me) is also the submitter (me), I violate the submission requirements.  

Any thoughts/suggestions?
