My hackets

Hello! My first Hacket is Constance Helena Mary HACKET who was born in 1845 at sea.She married Richard Newton YOUNG born 1834. Her parents are John George HACKET born 1820 and Susan Hussey Disney ROEBUCK. John's parents are Francis Beynon HACKET born 1784 and Mary HORTON born about 1790. Francis' parents are Andrew HACKET born abt 1737 and Elizabeth BEYNON (BENYON) born abt 1755. Andrew's parents are Andrew HACKET born abt 1702 and Mary SCOTT born abt 1722. Andrew's parents are Andrew HACKET born abt 1668 and Mary. Andrew's parents are Andrew HACKET born 1632 and Mary LISLE born abt 1638. Andrew's parents are Dr. John Hacket born 1592 and Elizabeth STREBBING born abt 1603. John's father is Andrew HACKET who was born abt 1561. I don't know if all of this is accurate but I would love to hear from anyone who shares a relative, has any corrections for me or who has more information!

Hi Dave! These Hackets are of Moor Hall, Sutton Coldfield, Warwick, England.

Thanks Alexandra, I will add the info to my database with your permission. Unfortunately I have no information on your family at present, but the biggest accumulation of Hackett's is in the Midlands.

Hi Alexandra:

No I am not related all of my ancestors were in Hampshire / Sussex back to 1513.

I am however a member of the Guild of one-name studies researching Hackett's, so I record every detail that I can find of a Hackett, hopefully so that I can match some of my contacts.

I have attached a document that I have compiled from various info of the origin of the name in the UK.

Thanks for the document. It was interesting! Looking at my tree again, it looks like my Hackets came from Scotland as Andrew Hacket was born there in 1561. I also have my info on Rootsweb at
