Hello,
I have been researching the HURDLE surname (my mother was a HURDLE) for several years. I have some information on Henrietta and Issac Hurdle. What are you searching for? I have their children's names as well as their parents names. I would love to share info with you. Kathy Holmes
Yippeee we have made some connections! Thank you Kathy for doing this sharing. This is what I need.

The burial date and place of Henrietta
I know that Henrietta was married in La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois, USA, do you know where?
Child Roy - Full birth date and full death date and death place
Child James - I have the death date but not the place
Child Mary - Need the birth place and death place

Also need the parents of Henrietta

Now Issac where was he laid to rest?

If there is anything that I can help you with, let me know. They are not direct lines to my family, but still part of my family. Several of my relatives are doing the genealogy thing and we all just connected trees. And some are working on parts of different trees.
Thank you so much for your help

It's so exciting! I am trying to find a link between 2 branches of HURDLES so if anyone has ANY HURDLE info, I would love to have it. Here is what I have for your questions above:
Henrietta died June 7, 1891 in Disco, Hancock County, IL. She is buried in LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe, IL. Isaac was buried there too.
When you say "where" was she married, I'm not sure what you mean. I have the same info as you show.

Henrietta's parents were Jonathan Doffemeyer b. 8/29/1823 d. 10/11/1894 and Mary Spiker b. 8/29/1824
d. 10/23/1895. Interesting...they shared a birthday.

I have 10 children listed for her and Isaac and it may be easier for me to print them out and fax or email them to you on a fact sheet. Either way is fine with me.

Do you use Family Tree Maker? If so, would you be willing to swap family files? Glad to help!! Kathy

Kathy,

Thank you so much for this information. Yes I have Family Tree Maker but I don't know how to swap files, if you are willing to tell me I would be happy to send you them.

I do have alot of Hurdle information, but I don't know if its what you need.

Let me know if you need anything!

I know how to do the reply here, but I don't know how to do the file off of Family Tree
OK so when I open this file, does it go into my family tree or does it make a seperate tree? I will wait to open it till I hear from you.
Do you know where on your computer you have your family tree files saved? For instance, mine are in my documents folder under family tree maker. I have mine named ourfamily.ftm. Yours would most likely have the same extension (ftm) but with a different name.

As for the file I sent you, if you click open, it should open your family tree maker program and it will display there. You can then click on "file" and save as a separate tree file. It won't hurt the one you have already.
But the ftm file is the whole database right? There has to be a way just to send part.
OK I just tested it, I can send you family group sheets through a PDF in your email. Email me at DorscherFamily@gmail.com with your email address and I can send you those family group sheets. Tell me what names you are interested in and I will see if I have them and send you the PDF of the group sheet that I have.
