I work in Gettysburg in the evening doing ghost tours. But this has nothing to do with ghosts, just my two tours last night. I had a couple on my first tour from Pittsburgh. When we got back from that tour, my second tour was starting to gather. On my second tour were cousins of the couple from Pittsburgh who had not seen each other in years. What a place to have a reunion.
I always ask people where they are from. One couple said they were from Chicago but their daughter was going to camp near Loganton PA. Well my Wohlford ancestors lived in Loganton. Another couple were from Mt Vernon OH. My Wohlford ancestors from Loganton had sons and daughters who went to Mt Vernon in the 1820's and 30's. They spelled the name Wolford. Another couple was from Nevada Co California. I also have Wohlfords from Loganton who went to Nevada Co. - Nevada City and Grass Valley in the Gold Rush. How weird is that?

Jim, that sounds like a great evening. I received your email concerning places to stay, but deleted it. Please contact me again, as Bob & I are making plans to come up on Oct 11 & 12, and are looking for a place to stay. I think you mentioned The Lodges .
Are you doing a ghost walk that weekend?
Thanks, Sarah & Bob
